Probably the last thing you need when you're struggling is a 'how to'
book. At New Hope we do everything we can to meet you where you're at,
be a reassuring presence, and give you help that's really helpful.
Here's how:

New Hope is blessed to have a Care Coordinator who provides those who are struggling with encouragement and support from a network of resources. Contact us if we can be helpful.
Recovery groups are for anyone who recognizes the areas of
sickness in their life and desires to experience healing and wholeness.
Sickness includes such things as depression,
insecurity, eating disorders, trouble with anger, being a “people pleaser,”
needing to be in total control, and chemical dependency.
Really, these groups are for anyone with a
“hurt, habit, or hang-up” that is in need of healing.
Each group is led by a trained facilitator.
Groups are made up of 5-10 people who commit
to meeting weekly for twelve weeks.
Men
and women meet in separate groups.
One of the ways New Hope cares is through a ministry called Stephen Ministry. Our pastors will always be caregivers, but they can't meet everybody's needs. And God has asked each of us to reach out to one another in ways that reflect His love and care in our own lives and experiences. Stephen Ministers who are caregivers that have received 50 hours of professional training and skill building for topics like listening, feelings, boundaries, assertiveness, and using Christian resources in caregiving. Stephen Ministers help those who are divorced, hospitalized, bereaved, and aging. They listen, understand, accept, and pray for you. While Stephen Ministers ARE NOT counselors; they are there to listen and care...not give advice or counsel. And know that in any and all areas of ministry at New Hope confidentiality is one of our most important principles.
