Global Impact

New Hope is reaching around the world to embrace our brothers and sisters and bring help, support, & healing. Here are some of the projects we're working on:
Making a difference in
Swaziland! Even though we’re half
way around the globe from our brothers and sisters in Swaziland, we’re
connected as a family through God’s Spirit. And soon we’ll have the privilege of
blessing them with a truckload of clothing, medicine, toys, and personal items. Click HERE or check out New Hope’s Volunteer Center for more informaton and a list of suggested donations.
We’ll be filling our trailer all summer in anticipation of sending a core group
of leaders to Swaziland this fall.

Sage Sullivan has been
chosen from over 10,000 candidates to serve with Compassion International’s
Child Survival Program. She’ll be spending most of the summer in Colorado Springs, Colorado evaluating the program’s
effectiveness and resources, helping to plan Compassion’s Global Child Survival
Summit, and looking for ways to improve pre and post-natal care and early
childhood development in impoverished nations. She’ll be finishing her
internship in Nicaragua in early August spending
time with the families that have been helped through Compassion sponsorships.
Pray for Sage’s ministry and safety. |

Jessica Mengel continues to serve Eastern Mennonite Missions, training others for global service. While she expects to return to India later in 2010, she'll be traveling to Guinea-Bissau in late May to support Youth Evangelism Service's teams as they develop women’s Bible studies, do outreach, and support local agricultural efforts and community development projects.

| | New Hope supports the ministries of Jesse and Kay Landis. Jesse and Kay founded, developed, and served the Camp Sonshine Center in Iloilo City, Philippines to reach out to the street children of the city, offering them an after-school program, summer camp experiences, and other aid. Camp Sonshine Center is partnered with Calvary International. Jesse and Kay now serve as Global Directors of Camp Sonshine International, an organization that extends the Iloilo City model to cities around the world.
