| In the gospel of Mark, chapter 5 Jesus
encounters a man whose life was seriously troubled. He was alone,
anti-social, alienated from family and community, and self-destructive.
His encounter with Jesus was life-changing. When Jesus healed the man,
the report included this observation: "He was sitting there, dressed,
and in his right mind." He got his life back! Our goal is for The
Partnership for Hope to have a transforming impact in the lives of
people in our community.
And in the book of Luke,
chapter 10 Jesus mobilizes teams of people into ministry. He gives them
instruction and identifies people who will help them along the way.
Scripture expresses the joy of those who returned as they shared their
stories. The Partnership for Hope provides opportunities for the people
of New Hope to express Christ's ministry to others. And as the name
implies, we recognize that we are part of a larger church and work
collaboratively with other ministries and community organizations.
