Girlfriends
Unlimited! centers on bringing women together in casual, fun settings so
that they can meet new friends and have time to enjoy the friends they already have! The ministry provides ways for women ages 18-80+ at New Hope and in our community to connect, have fun, and find purpose.
Ladies are given the opportunity to relax, unwind, gab, and form friendships with other women and Jesus. Girlfriends' philosophy is to BEFRIEND women, so they feel like they BELONG. Then they will be open to hear about what we BELIEVE, which will open their hearts to BECOME someone different - a follower of Jesus! To complete the circle, we want women to BEFRIEND others, and help them BELONG, too.
We do that in several different ways within the Girlfriends' ministry. One way is through Girls Night In/Out events which are held usually on a monthly basis and involve things such as movie nights (indoor & outdoor), scavenger hunts, an accessories swap, etc. Another facet of the ministry is large themed events. These are held twice a year and is a time to grab a girlfriend and spend a few hours together doing crafts, dancing, eating and having just plain fun. We are also encouraging small interest groups to form and have a few of them in motion. We'd love for you to be a part of Girlfriends at New Hope!
