New Hope Church

Our Worship

The hope of our time singing and worshipping together is that we would encounter God in a way that honors Him and opens our heart to hear His voice. Our worship style is sensative to the Holy Spirit as well as /files/Pictures/Worship/Cross.jpg
our congregation. While it is band driven it encorporates
various styles, both hymns and contemporary worship music.
The goal is to lead the church into God's presence and appreciate Him the best we can for all He is worth.

The congregation is encouraged to participate freely in worship to their own level of comfort. Some may worship by silently observing as they allow the words and music minister to their hearts. Others may choose to close their eyes, raise their hands, or clap along with the songs. One of the most powerful witnesses of the body of Christ is their voices lifted together in worship of their Savior.

Comments on worship:

"David was one of the greatest examples and teachers of worship through music in the Bible. On one occasion King Saul was tormented by an evil spirit. The evil spirit left Saul after the playing of David's harp. This is in part what we long for as we worship Jesus Christ: That He would be honored through our music and our spirits would be set free in a way to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us and dwell in and among us as followers of Jesus Christ."
